back online

more than a week from my last vacation of the year, i finally had the time to post some updates on the trip, only to realize the site was down. a look at the error log file revealed that the site had been down since dec 7, due to an invalid call argument for one of the plug-ins.

removed the offending plug-in, and i am back online.
