the park, featuring the pedestrian bridge to lor halus wetland, boardwalk and jogging tracks, was opened to the public on mar 5 2011.

both the bridge or the river should have posed good backdrops for sunrise (from the left of the picture). i could only afford a sunset shot from the other end of the park.

when evening came, the 3 food outlets were bustling, with queues forming from outside the bistro cafe, seafood restaurant and popeyes. parking is free for now, even though carpark barriers had already been fitted. no yellow or white lines have been drawn on the small road leading to the carpark, which lead to the “illegal” parking of cars for those who are unable to secure a parking lot.

the jogging path by the riverwalk is breezier, compared to the extending jogging tracks in punggol. most importantly, food is just around the corner, after the workout.
