the hiatus, the LSD and the run

it was a breezy morning with very little sunlight, a perfect weather for a casual run.

the 20km LSD was reduced to less than 10km, which was a blessing to me, considering that i have not ran (farther than 2km) for at least 2 months or longer. nevertheless, it was still a slow pace, and gave me a good opportunity to put into practice what i’d learn from the newton running clinic.

i had been procrastinating over the training, while i see myself putting on weight. at least the run helped to also kick start it for the upcoming nike she run this weekend. despite the long hiatus and the distance, i’m glad to sustain aches on my calves and feet. no excuse for at least another run this week!
