iphone – too hot to handle

i’ve come across reports on over-heated batteries that pose fire hazards, but not exploding iphones.

that’s one of the reason why i am reluntant to upgrade the firmware. there is a 50% chance my iphone will not explode after the jailbroken firmware upgrade to version 3.0, having learnt the real life experience of one successful and one unsuccessful upgrade.

maybe it would be wise to abort the upgrade to version 3.0. i do not want to end up in the hospital again.
