my first canon photomarathon
clarity, faith and charge were the 3 themes used for this year’s canon photomarathon. the blue and silver cans of red bull kept the photomarathoners energized throughout the 12-hour event. osim massage chairs were free for all to use – however those were occupied all the time.
water droplets, sunglasses and glasses were the common props used to create “clarity“.
you wouldn’t go wrong with faith in places of worship. my initial intention was to look for a singapore pools outlet but we ended up in st andrew’s cathedral.
lastly, my take on charge, after failing to capture a decent “charging” of a few shoppers on the escalator.
the event was fun and definitely a great experience for an amateur photographer. we were tested on the raw capturing of the pictures without editing – some could have edited on cameras that support onboard editing. each participant were given a free pixma printed photo of your own choice, which i’m proud to declare my first printed photo picture with no edits.
none of our photos made it to the red wall of fame, but we shall return next year with canon body and lenses.
