airplane sighting

i couldn’t make out the horizon (if there is any) or the island from across. it was all a blur to me before i felt rain drops falling, barely 5 minutes after we alighted from the car.

i spotted first the “head lights” from the plane, emerging from a fast approaching storm, before i could hear the roar of the engine.

by then, the sound of the engine was deafening.

and that ended my airplane sighting before the umbrella got blown away by the wind, and the sky unleashed the merciless rain on us.
