running in a virtual environment on virtualbox has been flawless so far. the most annoying glitch is the usage of forms on IE.

maybe it’s due to the default security settings or javascript. i have been prompted to update javascript all the time, on my first login. websites with flash will always display missing flash plugins, despite having flash installed.

the metro ui is good for tablets or touch screen devices. without the metro interface it still inherits the windows 7 ui. i suspect it will take a long time before we start to adopt windows 8 in the office environment. nevertheless it’s a good exposure to the upcoming windows desktop touchtop os.
