jurong lake run race pack collection

the queue for the rack pack collection, snaked from the ground floor, to the sports hall on the second floor. the total queue and waiting time was 45 minutes. i appreciated the young school kids who helped to distribute mineral water to the people in the queue, and to the young girl who apologized on the delay caused, before asking for my identification.

15,000 – that’s the expected number of participants in the run this year. i wonder what’s the numbers split between the 10km, 6km and the 3km community walk. i can only anticipate overcrowding in the start pent, and hopefully, not along the run route.
