with the increase of h1n1 virus and spread within the community, it’s advisable to finally own a personal thermometer.

my hubby works in an environment that requires close contact with the patients, if necessary, which means i could be susceptible to an infection. i couldn’t afford to fall ill now, especially it’s 2 weeks’ away from my vacation to india. one week in delhi, agra, probably jaipur (the golden triangle) and my last stop in bangalore for my business trip.

most people will shun away from traveling during this crucial period, plus july is the monsoon season in india (mozzies are active during the monsoon season). even though deaths have been reported on the westerners, this doesn’t necessary mean asians will not be affected. the virus might have mutated to other deadly forms. i won’t hesitate to wear a mask on the plane, even if i receive stares from the other passengers.

it’s better to be safe than sorry.
