chillax at loysel’s toy

the place was an accidental found, while attending one of the running event that was held at the the kallang riverside park. located on the ground level of an old warehouse, and despite being well hidden from the main road, the cafe has managed to attract a myriad of coffee drinkers.

there are both outdoor and indoor seating, with limited indoor seats. the cafe was crowded and we managed to secure an indoor seat at the corner, with a nice panoramic view of the interior.

the cafe serves breakfast, pastries, salads and sandwiches, besides only coffee. we had a late lunch, and with only an hour to spare, we ordered a slice of sesame chestnut and caramel orange butter cake, to go with our hot mocha and flat white. the cakes were pretty all right, except that the caramel orange butter cake felt too rich for me.

loysel’s toy cafe is within close proximity to my in-laws place, and definitely a nice chillax place on a lazy sunday afternoon. i would love to try the chocolate ganache cake on my next visit.
