the IWD run

the green roof of the marina barrage was bathed in a sea of pink, as the women, gathered at the start and end point for a fun 5 km run along the scenic route of gardens by the bay. the event was held in conjunction with the international women’s day.

the ladies were encouraged to dress up in their most outrageous, creative, funky or outstanding sports attire and get captured by the official photographers for the line up to win attractive prizes. perhaps to match the theme on the running t-shirt on “show off your sparkle”, i spotted many of the ladies dressed in angels and fairies.
