i was browsing through my old photo collections, and found this photo i took out from my window back in december 2002.
the matilda house visible on the photo, had been slightly hidden by the lrt tracks.
gazing out of the window used to be therapeutic, especially in the morning when the morning fog covered from the grounds of the lrt station to punggol.i had my tiny study table facing the window back then. the bared land in punggol has now been replaced with tall trees, and new residential flats. even a new residential development has sprung up on the empty land from across the street.
it took me a few months to get accustomed to the close proximity of my matrimony home from the surrounding blocks. the empty plots of land within 1 km from where i stayed have been slated for residential developments.
i can’t help myself from worrying about the nursery and primary school vacancies, should we have a kid.
