Convenient, Clean, Safe – Well Rested Nights at Park Taipei Hotel

My fourth visit to Taiwan, and the second longest stay solely in Taipei.

Park Taipei Hotel, located 2 km away from Taipei 101 and just a door step away from Daan metro station, was where I spent my 5 nights. The room is large and clean, and comes equipped with a bath tub and separate shower area. I counted 3 convenience stores near the hotel (2 Family Marts and 1 7-11), and Starbucks Reserve is just around the corner on the left. Across from the street, along Xinyi Road, is the famous 鬍鬚張魯肉飯 (Formosa Chang minced pork rice). And 永和豆浆大王 (Yong He Soy Milk King) is a mere 6 minutes walk from the hotel.

Even though I booked a standard room for my travel companions, they were assigned to a room with direct view of the Taipei 101.

Typically, even numbered rooms have the Taipei 101 view while the odd numbered rooms face the street and the Wenhu (Brown) line metro tracks. DO request for room x02 for an unblocked view of Taipei 101.

My only complaint was that all the power outlets are on the writing desk.

I don’t usually sleep well alone but I had well rested nights throughout the stay.
