splurge on photography accessories
my search for a used camera bag and lens is not without obstacles. i was a few steps too late to close a deal on the crumpler six million dollar bag/seven million dollar bag, and after 2 weeks of active monitoring, i finally closed a deal for a crumpler six million dollar bag. my efforts are not futile after all, as the bag is in mint condition and i have to ruin it by feeding it with kaya on the first day of the purchase!
a little water did help in removing the stain though…phew!
3 months ago, i toyed with the idea of purchasing a brand new canon 17-40mm F4 L lens. the canon L lens are the luxury range of lenses which are good but slightly more expensive. the price dropped $10 from 3 months ago and i really am tempted to purchase it. i am now a proud owner for my first L lens, the 17-40mm F4 L lens, bought 2nd hand.
i suspect i could have been the 3rd owner – a previous search on the forum revealed the sellers “WTB” thread. i was fortunate to receive a further $20 off, which i assumed, was due to the late meetup.
the body of the lens looks new and the front and back lens appear to be dust and scratch free. however, it’s always the quality of the image and fungu-free that counts. i can’t wait to lay my eyes on the pictures taken from the lens and to sell away the crumpler budgie smuggler.
