when the economy is bad…

i either have to tighten my purse string or search for cheaper alternatives. you can hardly save on the daily essentials unless you are willing to go for house brand items from the major supermarkets. not all are of a lower calibre. you will be amazed by the quality of some products, where you pay a premium for the well-know or popular brands, you pay lesser of the same grade.

speaking of house brand, nowhere can i find cheaper faceshop and laneige products, than from the country of origin – korea. my kind korean colleague carried 2 boxes of faceshop and laneige products from his recent trip from korea. due to the quantity and value of the products, laneige gave a complimentary luggage bag…

laneige products purchased from korea is probably about 30% cheaper while faceshop products can come up to more than 50%. you can do your own maths and come up with the prices for the individual products. it’s money well-spent as i know the products can last me till up to 9 months, or more.

now, my only worry is, can the products last that long?
