photohunt – covered

the first mayday concert on the sunny island in the open stadium is an experience not to be missed. why? it would be their last concert in the national stadium, but not their last open air concert. the rain in the late afternoon did not dampen the mood, even though we had to dredge through the muddy field to our seats.

as opposed to the covered indoor stadium right across the road, the national stadium can hold up to a capacity of 55,000 spectators. part of the tickets sold were in the field where the actual action was.

it is by far, one of the best concert i’d attended, with pyrotechnics display at the end of the show. i left my camera at home with the intent to enjoy the concert to the max, so no pictures on the fireworks display. 🙁 however, it’s still an unforgettable event with time and money well spent on.
