tallest hdb in singapore

the pinnacle @ duxton

standing at a height of 156 meters, the 50 storey pinnacle @ duxton is the tallest public housing in singapore. the 7 blocks of flats are linked at the 26th and 50th floors by sky bridges to form jogging track and sky garden. the flats were ready in December 2009 and the skybridge opened to the public on new year’s day. for a fee of $5 per person, a member of the public can access only to the 50th storey skybridge. not unless you are fortunate to be invited over by your friends or relatives who is a resident there, and you will have access to the 26th storey skybridge too.

only 200 members of public can access the 50th storey skybridge per day. at any one time, only 100 members of the public will be allowed on the skybridge. a total limit of 1000 people restriction has been imposed on the 50th skybridge at any one time, to ensure safe evacuation during emergencies.

during my last visit in pinnacle@duxton, the hubby and i spent up to 2 hours, covering the entire site. we gave the skybridge a miss as it would be a wasted visit without my tripod.

If you encounter problem in entering or exiting the skybridge, please visit the Managing Office at Blk 1G, Level 1.

i truly wonder how am i going to make my way down to the level 1, should i encounter problem exiting the skybridge.

hmm…
