countdown to earth day
the countdown to earth day kicked off yesterday. i missed the speech for the kickoff but fairly overwhelmed by the green pandan cakes, apples, bananas and BALLOONS!
halon balloons, regardless whether they are bio-degradable or not, poses a threat to the environment if released to the air.
thank goodness those were not released into the air! nevertheless, it would have been appropriate to give out recycable bags, part of the bring your own bag campaign.
