the refurbished jetty reminds me of bedok jetty, with its wide passageway, filled with fishing enthusiasts, cyclist and rollerbladers.the strong breeze was welcoming though, a good respite from the cloudy evening. the wind and the grey distance clouds brought a light drizzle – thankfully it was a passing rain cloud.
Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky. – Rabindranath Tagore

this indian caught my attention at the start of the jetty.
he seemed to be in a world of his own, always looking far ahead. when someone moved close to him, he walked away. i couldn’t resist a shot of him, sitting peacefully on the bench, undisturbed, while enjoying the music played from his phone.
not all the sunsets are the same, and they have a way of expressing how your day was. no doubt it was disappointing, but the wind was simply refreshing and it lifted up my spirits. the sun will always rise and set, life goes on, and i will be back for a decent sunset shot.
