HFMD – Day 3

There were at least 3 outbreak of the HFMD in her childcare center since we sent her there a year ago. She managed to escape from the first two, and feel victim to the latest outbreak. I suspect it was just a matter of time as 3 of her classmates caught it.

Exactly the day the sanitizing is due to be performed, I received a call from school. They spotted 2 red spots at the back of her throat. The doctor confirmed the onset of the enteroviruses and she has to be away from school for a week.

The visible signs are the tiny red bumps below her lips. She has been eating and drinking well so far. Hope no new symptoms and I will be quarantined together with her for the entire week.
