i read through the techniques on how to capture fireworks, purchased a shutter release for the purpose and did a site survey prior to the setup of the tripod. i managed to secure a good vintage point, so what went wrong?!

blame it on my inexperience – my supposedly good view was blocked after the 3rd or 4th burst of fireworks and i wasn’t able to zoom in further. besides, most of my shots were overexposed due to the smoke after the release of the fireworks. nevertheless, there is always a first time and lots of lessons to learn from the imperfect shots.
