2010 recaps

seriously, i have no recollections over how i celebrated my way into 2010.that is secondary, since i know for sure this year’s new year’s eve will be different, something to be remembered and captured for years to come.

2010 – the year is full of positive events and experiences.

i finally went through the customary wedding, after “cohabiting” for up to 2 years, and the preparation works involved made me lost up to 10kg (a feat which i thought wasn’t possible in the beginning of the year).

the mizuno wave 101010, my 10th 10km, run was the most memorable run of the year. after a year of participation in running events, i saw an improvement over the finishing times, with the best time of 1:10:09. the KL putrajaya night run was my first overseas run and the hubby signed up for the penang bridge marathon run, which i gladly tagged along for a short break away from work.

my first canon photo marathon left us drained towards the end of the evening but it was a good experience indeed, in my first public photography competition.

cissp took a backseat again, while i pursued for and attained the system center configuration manager certification. yes, another certification added to my current pool since half a decade ago.

i was awarded with a 10 years service award plaque, and a small monetary reward that is more than enough for my expenses incurred in the hanoi trip (an incentive trip for winners of the excellence club).

with the new year’s eve rain out of sight, i’m geared up for the mini fireworks display in the heartlands.

i shall bury the disappointments for the year, let bygones be bygones, and welcome a brand new year with open arms.
